What i know

Right now i am laying here in my bed thinking about my next step in life. I really want to travel and see the world as soon as i can. Unfortunately there are, as far as i can see, two paths: travel around the world before pending graduate school/peace corps or traveling after graduate school/peace corps.  I have this need to travel. Even traveling on the plane from Harrisburg, PA to Myrtle Beach SC was thrilling to me, just the flight itself. I know it seems crazy but i have this desire, this urge to travel. Recently i watched the film "Into the Wild" and was inspired to embrace life even more. As i sum of my life now i realize i have not taken the full advantage of what it has to offer. In the next month i plan to become a certified a scuba diver  and a more avid hiker.

The making of an Anthropologist

I guess this is an outlet of expression and realization. Posting serves as my way to truly come to grip with life challenges. This is the journal of a newly graduated cultural anthropologist with the whole world in front of her to explore. I guess in the end i always knew i wouldn't have a "traditional" path in life, it just isn't me. Regardless,  I'm ready to take the challenge and truly LIVE life and not let it escape me.
